Just like in your living room or bedroom the finishing touches to the kitchen are the choices of accessories you make for the room. Choosing the right accessories isn’t as simple as I first thought! When I decorated my kitchen I chose a modern design with a granite topped kitchen island, and I used chrome and glass throughout the kitchen. I knew therefore that I was looking for some designer kitchenware but I had no idea of the huge range of kitchenware that is available! So my message to you is to be prepared and have an idea of the theme and style of accessories that you are looking for, I spent ages looking for a toaster but by refining my search to only look for modern and funky 2 slice toasters I was able to quickly find a Dualit 2 slice toaster – it even comes in Azure blue, which will look great alongside my glass-fronted kitchen doors!

It doesn’t stop at toasters though, you need to think about what kettle you want – again I went with a chrome finish. I used a chrome finish throughout my kitchen, from the electric sockets to the bread bin!
As a treat I splashed out on an espresso maker for my kitchen and I was able to pick up some swish designer espresso cups online, glass cups with a metal handle – perfect for spending some time and enjoying my new kitchen.
